Red Light

  • No red Light at clearing to be Dolphin Pointe

Apartments

  • Will be populated early October
    • Discussion over Speed bump occured

Operation Beautification

  • Waiting on Surveyor to purchse bricks for columns
  • Workday needed Oct 20th
  • New idea for topper: Shell
    • Motion to move decision to later date was made and approved

Elections

  • Nominations will be in October
  • Elections will be in November

Garage Sale

  • November 3rd

Parks and Recreation

  • Budget approval in process 9/25/18
  • Blue Cypress pool has been committed to start and finish in 2019
  • New pedestrian count down light at University and Ft. Caroline

Grand Slam Batting Cages

  • New owners has revamped business
  • Taking care of trash in the area

Right of Way Issue

  • Flowers cannot be planted without city approval

Sidewalk/Tree Projects

  • For West side of University Blvd from the bank to Blue Cypress
  • Trees can be planted at no cost in city property is requested
  • VP Shirley pursuing

Treasurers Report:

  • 80 renewed members
  • Spent $2,332.99 so far this year, fence cleaning was large expense

Announcements:

New Toastmasters club forming

  • To improve public speaking and leadership
  • Held by Poise Inc at 1461 #2 Rogero Rd
  • 1st and 3rd Thursday at 6:30pm every month
  • External organization – membership has dues
